Thanh Ngoc (Natalie) Pham

I am a graduate from the Master of Science in Data Analytics for Science, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). Currently, I work as teaching assistant and research assistant at Machine Learning Department, CMU. I did my undergraduate study at Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), majored in Mathematics.

I am interested in both theoretical and empirical aspects of Machine Learning (ML). From the theoretical perspective, I want to understand ML models' performances in the adversarial setting and establish provable bounds for their behaviors. For applications, I want to leverage the power of ML to learn the patterns for new data in scientific domains, particularly partial differential equations or cosmology.
